Greetings! The Uncommon Communities Board was appointed by our County Judge Dale James and approved by the Quorum Court. What does this board of capable volunteers do for the County? We are responsible for thinking of new and innovative ideas and marketing tactics to bring more tourists and visitors to our beautiful county. Thinking outside the box is what we do! We meet monthly and are dedicated in moving the county forward with projects that we hope will make a difference in our County. We are here to assist all of our cities and smaller communities in their growth and hope that together we can all reach our goals. This group will not disappear at the time a new County Judge is re-elected in the future. Consistency in the growth of this group is needed to move forward without interruption by appointed officials. I would like to thank Roger Hooper, our last County Judge in his involvement in the beginning of this group through a grant through the University of Arkansas and Mark Peterson. I will be using these blogs to keep each and every one of you in the goals of this group and hope that you will visit this blog to stay informed. We are here for you!
